Velcro Companies supported the Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF), which provides education, food, family support and community development programs in the heart of Cambodia’s most impoverished areas.

Velcro Companies made a significant contribution to the construction of the Neeson Cripps Academy. In addition to providing student education, the academy serves as a hub for the local community and provides much-needed teacher training, giving adults viable careers and opportunities.

Named after Robert Cripps, a former company Chairman, and Scott Neeson, Founder and Executive Director of CCF, Velcro Companies helped CCF build the five-story, state-of-the-art school to provide children a high-quality education focused on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) topics. There are more than 2,300 students enrolled in CCF’s education program.

It was from their determination to improve the lives of children in one of Cambodia’s poorest communities that the idea for the Neeson Cripps Academy was born. More information about Scott’s personal journey and the work of the CCF are available on the CCF website.

We also provided in-kind and financial support to further the CCF’s mission of caring for the most in-need children – and families – in Cambodia. In fact, we helped the CCF establish the food program to nourish hundreds of students and their families.
