Fostering belonging by respecting and valuing the differences in others.
At Velcro Companies, we are committed to upholding fundamental human rights. We strive to have a diverse workforce, where everyone is welcomed, heard, and respected equally. We believe embracing diversity makes us a stronger organization and endeavor for a world free from all discrimination and racial injustice. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination.
Diversity Equity & Inclusion Roundtables
We strive to strengthen Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Velcro Companies. As part of that effort, DE&I Roundtables were created. Roundtable discussions are conducted with small groups of employees throughout the organization. These roundtables create a workplace where everyone feels connected to each other and our company. Embracing diversity helps create a high-performance culture and makes us a stronger organization.
Employee Resource Groups
At the suggestion of members of our community we decided to strive to form a more inclusive cultural fabric that binds us together. We created Employee Resource Groups (“ERGs”) with the intent of reaching out to every aspect of our community to make sure that we are evolving the expansion of a culture of acceptance and understanding. Our colleagues have worked together to create and launch five Employee Resource Groups: disABILITY Alliance, LATINe, Nations, People of Colour, Pride, VESA, and Women to support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. The intent is to invite any interested members of the Velcro Companies community to join these groups to discuss the perceptions and realities of our culture as it relates to supporting the communities at large and within the Velcro Companies.
